Additional Products for the Life Science Sector
For high-pressure applications in the pharmaceutical field, whether in liquid chromatography (HPLC), synthesizers, reactors, or gas supply in small dimensions, components with FDA-compliant greases and seals are used. These are available, like Swagelok fittings with 3.1 certificates. For more information, contact our sales team.
For aggressive media, FDA-compliant PFA products and components made from Hastelloy are also available:

Good to know: If you need an FDA-compliant product, choose the suffix 16222. This indicates that the ball valve and all seals, coatings, etc., are made from FDA-compliant material (e.g., SS-43GS6MM-16222). Ask our sales engineers for help.
These specialty regulators have been specifically designed for pharmaceutical applications and feature FDA/USP Class VI compliant EPDM seals. The ultra-high purity gas regulators of the PRS and TBRS series are rated for pressures up to 232 psi (16.0 bar) and are available with sanitary clamp connections. The PRS series pressure regulator includes a knob handle for pressure adjustment, while the TBRS series tank vent regulators feature a screw adjustment for pressure tuning. The sanitary line of pressure regulators is best suited for use with clean/dry gases for purging, interization, vessel venting, and other process-oriented applications.
