Hydrogen fuel cell vehicles utilize hydrogen gas and oxygen to create electricity in a fuel cell that powers an electric motor, delivering zero emissions operation, major horsepower, and the torque required for heavy-duty applications. Swagelok Switzerland started in having the first Hydrogen Fuel-Cell fleet vehicle is on the road in 2015, in 2020 we have three and are still fully convinced that this technology has a great future. In cooperation with the Swiss Materials Science & Technology Institute (EMPA) we were operating the first Hyundai ix35 fuel cell in Switzerland 2015 as part of the project MOVE.
